help with ignition system
ok im at my wits end here. i have a 1994 f150 with the 6cyl engine. the other night i went out ot move my truck, it started right up but when i went to turn it off it wouldn't. the key would go forward and crank the starter but when i turned it back it just twisted until the point where it turns the electricity on. i ended up killing the motor and disconecting the battery. since then i tried a new ignition switch which didn't work and a new ignition lock cylinder. now whenever i reconnect the battery the electricity turns on but the key just twists forward and back. i really have no idea what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks for looking, john.
