keypad code
i did a search and couldnt find much. my friend bought a used '01 navigator and it didnt come with the code for the door keypad. i read some where that there is a programming code, or a way to program it. i just dont know what it is or how to find it. any link or advice will help,thanks in advance

The location changed at some point, so the code is either on the driver's side under the dash or on the passenger side behind the glove box. In either location you can use a flashlight, lay on the floor, and then look up to find the 5-digit code on a white sticker. They are fairly large digits.

i tried last night to find it. i didnt see anything. ca someone describe what it looks like, or post a pic? BTW... if the code has a large number like a '9', do i hit that button twice?
