02 Supercrew blinker problems
I've been reading a lot on this site and can't seem to find the solution to my problem. A while ago my blinkers would work and then a few days would go by and they'd quit. When they are not working I can apply the brake, pull the turn signal handle down slightly and it will illuminate the bulb to turn. It doesn't flash it just turns it on, so in order to make a turn I have to manually go up and down with the signal handle. It will only do this if I press the brake pedal. The flashers also do not work at all when depressed. Is this a problem in the multi function switch, a wire that is pulled out of the MSF switch, is it the flasher relay? I'm just at a loss at what it could be. I was gonna replace the multi function switch but they wanted $110 for it so I thought i'd investigate farther. Also when I have the flashers depressed (as if they were on) I can't get any turn signal light to come on, and my brake lights do not come on either.
