What do you mean? Is ford replacing your turbo under warrantee? If so they are replacing it with a remanufactured one. Or are you referring to a turbo cleaning where they take it apart and clean it?

Thanks for looking, What I was referring to is that my truck threw a touble code p0299 "turbo underboost". Ford told me that my turbo was shot and they were going to rebuild it rather than replace it, this is the second time in 39000 miles that this has happened. My question is shouldn't the turbo be replaced rather than just rebuilt when it is being done under a warranty situation. Thanks for your time

It's up to Ford's discretion as to whether or not parts get replaced with "new" when you're under warranty.
