Draining fuel tank

My truck is still skipping a beat here and there. My service engine soon light comes on and then goes away. Had 2 scanners on it and they both show no codes. The one tells me the Ses light is off when it is on. I believe I have water in my fuel and want to drain the tank just in case. Anyone have any easy ideas how to drain the fuel tank?

I'd think you could take the line off the fuel pump (pressure side) and put a new line on there that leads to a bucket or whatever else. Just keep cycling the key until no more fuel comes out.

The fuel bowl separates water, you can drain that and inspect what you drain for water. No water there and you might reconsider draining the tank.

For draining the tank those magic siphons work pretty well.
