There is a screw in the armrest, over top of the handle, and one in the top/fowardmost section....And then gently pull the window crank apart (If it has manual windows), and it has a SMALL torx head driver....then simply lift it off....Might take a lil wiggling, but it'll come....
The little plastic pieces that keep the rattling down, will probably be toast.....Best to just go ahead an get a new pack..$2.....Saves on the annoying rattles....
Just use a thin 1 way screwdriver, or a panel puller and pull around the edges first, remove the 3 screws, and lift it off....Install is reverse....
No prob......Also, after having 2 of this era trucks, I have noticed the rattle guards tend to get hard and brittle.....They are pieces that block rain outta the door....$45 new from LMC.....But it'll save yer window, and tint if you have it....
You're going to have a lot easier of a time getting the panel off without the door handle than you will putting it back on when you've got the new handle reinstalled. I always feel like I need a third arm to accomplish the task. It's not hard, but it can be awkward at times.

Ditto.....Seems easier to me, if I pull the handle, and feed it through the hole, THEN fight with the rest....
My next project will prolly be welding a set of wrenches in for handles....Can't break those!
And plus, it'll have that neat/hotrod factor....will tie in nicely with my exterior....
