Recommend a transfer tank

I am in search of an economically priced transfer tank for my 99 F350 crew cab, short box. I have a diamond plate tool box. I want an L shape tank that holds 75-100 gallons but takes up as little bed space as possible.

Recommendations?

You could look for an Excursion fuel tank but then you'd have to lose your spare tire and figure out the plumbing, and that's only 44gal. I have a Titan stock replacement tank for my shortbed that has a capacity of 52gal and fits in the same location.

Craigslist is going to be your best bet most likely.

Becarefull with tanks with pumps on them, In Mass the dot and police have the right to pull you over to see if your pump is certified, and could stick your tanks. I was going that way for a while until I verified those thing.

Now I would go with a titan tank or transferflow tank.

You are right, they have a right to pull any truck over to check the tanks. They can dip my transfer tank all they want, and it don't make a difference what fuel you have in that tank. They are just worried about you running the red diesel in your truck fuel tank.

I also have an RDS tank. 60 gallon tank toolbox combo. Works great in my shortbed with my 5th wheel.

I put an excursion tank in mine. Since I have a shortbed and a toolbox, I felt it was the best way to go. If I run down the highway with the mileage I get, I wouldn't have to stop and fill up but about every 1100 mi. But my rear gets sore long before I need to stop for fuel.

L shape tank + shortbed = headache! bed space is valuable real estate.

craiglist or a junkyard would be your best bet to find something cheaper.

Here you can see my L-shaped tank under and behind my tool box, with the pump and filter.

I use Transfer Flow with the Trax II.
It has a software package that monitors the fuel level and transfers from the aux tank to the main tank as needed.
It's probably your most expensive option out there, but it's also the easiest to live with because it doesn't require any work from you.
Just fill it and drive!
