Since all your buttons are not lighting up, I'm going to guess the problem is with the "clockspring". Do a search and I'm sure you'll find an answer to your problem.

Radio Shack recently changed the bulbs and they are tougher to work in to some of our solutions as described from previous kind folks here.
They added two wire leads to the bulb and glued the leads at the base of the bulb. This does not allow for as easy of a "low profile" install needed in some areas on the X. Just be very very careful trimming it down to fit.
Buy a few extra bulbs. I broke one trying to remove the glue to get a flush mount on the circuit board for the headlight switch.
