On this Memorial Day weekend, lets' think about the brave men and women, who gave their lives so you could have your freedom.
Think about the families, who gave a son or daughter to that cause and think of all the people who are now free because of the sacrifices that American soldiers have made throughout history, many of them giving their lives for it.
Let's Celebrate Memorial Day for what it stands for and not as a 3 day holiday weekend. - "Garret Watson"
A young man had alot of collages looking at him for baseball abd football. They wanted him to come their schools at no cost. Had a great future in sports. His dad was so proud.
One day the young man told his dad, he would not be going to collage, he was going to join the USMC. He felt he needed to go and serve his counrty before all else. After a lot of praying and talking, the man told his son, what ever you think is best for you.
The young man done his time in Irag and seen some of his freinds blown away. It took a long time for the boy to talk about what he seen.
The dad told his son about hearing another Marine got killed and waiting to hear form him was hell.
The came home and enrolled at USM and is now running for House of Rep. in Mississippi.
I can tell you I have never been so proud of a young man. I AM THE FATHER OF A US MARINE. His name is Ric McCluskey.
