need responce ASAP

so im going to go change my axle seal for the third time today but i remember awhile ago hearing i should empty all the fluid in the axle and put new in when i do the seal because it can be contaminated and ruin the seal again. is this true or not?

if your fluid is old it would be a good time to change it. i have changed many axle seals and never had a problem of changed the fluid

just make sure that you clean the surface where the seal sits very well. Also i know it sounds dumb but make sure you put that seal in the right way.
