Tail/brake light wire harness?

I want to replace the wiring harness from the plug that is located under the driver side of the tailgate and runs to each tail/brake light lens. Does anybody make this section? Do i have to make my own? The one on my truck is not to bad but is in need of some work so i would rather replace it or make a new one instead of bandaid what i got. Thanks for any help.

The part you need is:
Wiring Assy., Rear lamp connector
D4TZ-13A409-A (marked D4TB 13A409-AA)
Fits 74-up F100-350 From s/n T80,001
My parts locating service is down right now, once it's back up I'll see if I can locate any.

My locator service is back up, it shows that part is unavailable. Sorry.
There may be some out there, this service doesn't cover ALL the dealers and parts suppliers.

I found one on the Ford Dealer Parts Locator System.

D4TZ-13A409-A .. Wiring Assy-Rear Lamp Connector / Obsolete

Fits Stylesides: 1974 F100/350 from serial number T80,001 / 1975/79 F100/350.

CROSSET FORD L/M in Crosset AR has ONE = 870-364-2162.

No other FoMoCo Dealer, no obsolete parts vendor has any.

taillight wiring

here's a company that makes wiring harnesses. 49.99. probably about the same amount you'd pay if you bought all the wiring and looms etc. comes with the sockets too. if the rubber part of your connector is in good shape, you can splice the new wiring to the rubber connector so you can still plug/unplug easily.

Slightly off topic, but has anybody bought their grille parts? They're a lot cheaper than LMC etc.

I was noticing that as well. Might be interested in purchasing the grille and headlight kit.

Rear Wiring Harness plus adapter 1979 F100

I like the Mr Taillight.com rear tail light wiring but I really need the part just in front of that also that it plugs into. My truck is definately a work in progress and when I saw the wiring underneath in the rear I actually felt better about what was under the hood and that is saying something. If anyone knows what that junction plug is called and where I can get one of those I would appreaciate the heads up.

Thanks
JC
