Order "Picked Up"

My salesman sent me an email this past Tuesday saying my order was "picked up". Not sure what that means but he added that it should be finished with 1 - 2 weeks. Based on what I've read about regarding various delays the timeline, at this point, for mine is very acceptable.

Ordered - April 1

Got mine in 23 days and others here have waited extended periods of time. Mine was built before the Japaneese earth quake. Hard to tell when you will get it... Wish you luck..

"picked up" means the factory has agreed to build it. The sequence should be vehicle order confirmation from dealer, DORA from Ford verifying build, VIN assigned, factory scheduled build date assigned, build date and transit. It usually is 1-3 weeks for transit depending where you are after the build date. Hope this helps.
