hey there,
I had a question about qualifying for the recall reimbursement. I did have the affected tires, except I don't know if I had the specific dates. My spare falls into those dates. I replaced with michelins in Jan 2010. I replaced because it was just time (~30,000 miles) due to tire wear. Do I still qualify for the replacement reimbursement? I felt like they wore out sooner than they should have, but I have no proof or evidence that I ever had those tires with affected dates, or that I had significant issues. Anyone have any experience thus far with continental? Getting that $1000 back would be pretty sweet...
You can still qualify. Ford would have you listed in Oasis as 11b24. Continental should have sent you a form that you fill out with your vin. It also instructs you to their website for info.
Basically submit the form required since you already replaced with reciepts and they will verify and re-imburse up to 250 bucks a tire.
