I had contacted Ford Canada- advised them of this problem. They advised no recall of course. But if enough complaints- it may change. How many here have contacted Ford? Even if truck has had them replaced- if recalled Ford will reimburse. Something to consider. I wouldn't mind having Ford foot the 2K bill!

 

That would be nice. I wouldn't mind them footing the bill for the first spark plug change also. Or better yet, recall all of the 07 and older 3 valve 5.4 engines and install the new heads along with new phasers. But that'll never happen.

 

Maybe if enough complaints were made Ford would adress the issue.
