It's been a couple years since I pulled one off my 2000 F250 but from what I remember it was just the four front bolts. Once those are loose, double check the sides to make sure there aren't any supporting brackets but I think it's just the front bolts. The bumper is large but not too heavy. You can ease it down off the mounts pretty easy.
If you don't get it off by tomorrow, I should have a solid answer for you, I plan on taking mine off tonight or in the a.m. to paint the hooks.
The four bolts up front by the hooks, and one bolt on each side for the support brackets where they bolt to the frame of truck, just in front of the tire inside of the wheel well. Hope that helps.
That might actually be my next tool on the front end lol I really want the 2011 front end on it. I've cut so much stuff on the truck already I don't think this will ever become a stock truck again.
Here's the cord fastener, there are two to remove from the bumper.
And then of course the four 18mm bolts up front and that's it .
Hi, I had a winch on my excursion installed by the dealer. it was installed using a mounting kit that hides the winch inside the front bumper. I have now removed the winch and the winch mounting kit and want to return the bumper to stock. I now only have the four separate pieces of metal attached to the bumper. (it looks exactly like what you have shown in your first picture, two pieces on the left and two on the right). what it looks like is that there now is only two bolts which secure the bumper to the frame, but this doesn't make sense to me, because the bumper can just pivot on those bolts and it doesn't stay in place. there has got to be something i am missing here, I just don't know what. if someone could help me with this, that would be great. so far i can't find any help, reading forums or looking at pictures of bumper mounting brackets from online stores. if you could please also show picture of the entire bumper with brackets on and the holes used to bolt to frame, that would be great. Though, any help is very appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not sure I understand you. Do you mean at the front of the bumper? There should be two mounting bolts on the outside of each tow hook and one bolt on each end of the bumper from the bracket in my first pic to the side of the frame. These side bolts keep the ends of the bumper on the frame tight.

I think I see the problem now, I don't have the brackets pictured below. Are those the brackets that I see in your picture? Thank you.
OK I'm tracking you now. Yes, you need those brackets. Brackets mount to bumper then the bumper to frame. They're not in my first pic because I removed mine them paint both sides.
