I purchased the SCT tuner from Mike at 5 Star Tuning a few years ago. I got the custom tunes but have only used the 93 Octane - Performance Tune. It made a huge difference in the performance of the engine. The "drive by wire" system (in stock form) keeps the truck from performing. The SCT tuner removes that delay in response. I get 13 MPG mixed driving as well.
IMO, it is the best buck spent on my truck!
