Denny, I just noticed, where in Ne are you. I'm in Lexington, Ne at the present time. Maybe the shop you used is in Ne? I would have to go back and read this thread again, maybe you never did because you have the MorRyde.
We use Nebraska for a home base now but will be leaving Florida on Sunday and heading back that way for a few months. I had my axles aligned in Kearney Ne at Bear Frame & Alignment (308) 234-1220 (I'm 90% sure this is the name). I have MorRyde RE (rubber equalizer) so I still have axles and springs just like you. They did ours about 6 years and 60K miles ago and I have not had a wear problem sense just JunkYear 614 G problems. This place also does a lot of trailer repair so they should be able to find and repair and suspension problems you may have, back when I had our done it was only $80 a axle.
Get your axles aligned and install a set of 17.5 wheels and tires and your tire problems will be over, we still use one of our old 614G tires for a spare because the size is very close to the 17.5 tires.
I'm not sure if this applies, but what I usually carry is a non-contact IR temperature meter, available at HFT, and Home Depot type places, from 4 feet away it reads a 10 inch spot for temperature. When traveling and stopping for fuel or after the 20 mile break for a walk around check, I can scan all the vehicle tires and hub temperatures, any tire that's overloaded or carries say in excess of a few hundred pounds of its neighbor will be hotter by a few degrees. Any tire that's low on pressure will also show up as a hot tire. I would think that the failures here are thermal failures from axle mis alignment or a slow leak causing pressure drop and overheating. On a X country trip with 20k loaded on load range D tires, saw the temps runnin 135 F so opted to add 10 lbs of air to each tire, finally the temps settled down to around 100F running on a cool day. Knowing the tire temps and hub temps even in approximation is a handy tool.
Small world, I've been to that place in Kearney. I lived there for seventeen years before selling our house two years ago and buying one in AZ. We are still trying to sell our cabin at Johnson Lake so we are here. Monday I'll call Bear Frame, Thanks
I'll have to get one of those temp readers, sounds good. I'll say this, none of these tires have ever had a slow leak. They are good in that aspect.

Let us know what the alignment shop finds.
<O</O I didn’t read all the post. When did you change the axles/tires?
<O</O It’s a shame but tires may look NEW but if they are much older than 5yrs. They are GOING to cause trouble!!
<O</O ab
The axles were changed from 6K's to 7K's before I bought the camper. I replaced the rear axle when I broke the leaf springs and bent it. My tires never get over a year or so old before I blow them up, so no problem with old tires. Tomorrow I'll call to see if I can get an alignment appointment.
