v10 swap in 86 f150???

i was wanting to get some thoughts, and tips on a possible v10 swap into my 86 super cab.... my dad works for a company that builds terminal tractors (yard goats) and they are engineering a gas truck due to CA trying to push out diesels in their ports for industrial purposes. anyways... they are working with the triton v10 from 2010 -2011 and have built it into a hell of a work horse/ hot rod... its pushing 425 horse 600ftlb area, my dad said with 60k lbs trailer on the back it could still bust the tires free in 2nd and would just pull like none other all the way up to 4k. to make a long story short. they are either going to junk the prototype motor or let it go to whoever wants it. so my dad and i got to thinking that possibly, with a little help from engineering buddies of his, we could shoe horn it into my truck, with tranny and pcm and harness all included for about 1k, with some help of fabricators. Good idea??? any thoughts on the topic???

That's a lot of weight for a F150.

I would try it.

I thought about it for a minute in my truck, but they carb conversion is way expensive.

I'm in the middle of putting a V10 in an 89 myself. Life has me putting it on hold right now, but if you check out the link it will show you what I've had to do.
