ok since my dad and brother blew my car up today ive had that car since last june and i have drivin it 30,000 miles i paid 300 for its a chevy but its been a damn good they drive it 10 miles a crack the head and block, i have gas in the cooling system, water in the oil, oil and water in the exaughst and no compression WTF sooooooo its time to put the Bronco on the road im making a check list this is what i have so far
tune up
flush cooling system
oil change
drop the tank flush system
inspect brakes
change master cyclinders
inspect tranny
possible timing chain cover and water pump gaskets
possible intake and valve cover gaskets
ANYTHING ELSE GUYS
its a 1983 Bronco 351 Modified C6 tranny
thats why i asked. because its very possible they went to a 351w and not the 351m due to the tranny. the 351m would require a lot of changes to get that in there and be more work then going with the windsor. not to mention the windsor being the better motor choice.
ive discoverd it is not a 351W and in my honest opinion the 351M 400M are better than the widsors yeas harder to find parts for but they create much more power and last longer than a 351M and since mine has a fresh rebuild than i doube im going to change it and when i do im going diesel
