My window wont go all the way down most of the time. It will get about 4'' from being all the way down and stop. If I hit the button it might go down a little more but really slow. Most of the time I have to put my hand on it and push it down while I hold the control. Sometimes it will go all the way down and not act like theres a problem, but more often than not it stops. Any ideas?
First off, I would lubricate the tracks with some silglyde (similar to dielectric grease; it is silicone grease). My window was doing that and it turned out the rubber was gripping the sides of the glass too hard and the motor would heat up and shut off. Try to take some soapy water and spray it in the window channel and work the window. If this works, then your channels need to be greased. Quick and easy... otherwise, sounds like the motor may be fixin to be replaced...
