Must be the season for propane hoses. Our 2017 Keystone Passport 2810BH needed one of the propane hoses replaced. It was split all to heck already. Strangely the one right next to it is perfectly fine.

Replacing them both tomorrow after work with some upgraded stainless braided reinforced hoses.

I bought the V2 jacks too, had them on 2 trips so far. They are mush better in design. Getting their adjustment for weight distribution is different, I think mine is best at 6", 5 1/2 seems to be too much distribution.

I'm looking at the new jacks, I just readjusted the stinger after adding airbags. I probably need to add another washer when I get it back from the shop, @#$%^&* China bombs.

They are yours for shipping cost if you want them.

I read their instructions, and decided to do it my way. I measured how far the end of the bar was from the frame with the old jacks and duplicated that amount with the new jacks. Takes any variation in jack design out of the equation. Felt the same towing to me with the new jacks.

I didn't notice a difference either but the first time we used them my site made me lower the front all the way down to the ground, the V2 jacks allowed me to adjust the head more than the V1 jacks.

Anyone replace any of their vent fans with something better?

I've heard there's a few good options, but yall would be the best source if you've done this already.

Thanks!

Putting an actual fan in the hole is an option. I purchased my enclosed car trailer in 2016. Then in Jan of 2018, I had to purchase a new vent cover as the factory one was falling apart.

Amazon Amazon

It fit well and was easy to replace in the 15x15 (14x14?) opening. They had some that also came with 12v fans, but at the time I just wanted to keep the water out.

Amazon Amazon

An A/C would have been nice, but it only works on 120v, and its a little out of my price range.

One more camping related question, anyone using a setup like Dish for your RV, and if so what all is needed equipment-wise?

I replaced one of my standard vent fans wit the Maxxfan Deluxe.
You can trailer with it open, you can use it when raining, it has a ceiling fan feature, thermostat feature on the remote. And moves a lot of air.

I have fantastic fans in the coach. If I put a cap on them, I could have them open while going down the road but I don't find it necessary.

Pretty cool as hey have a rain sensor and will auto close in the event of rain. They have a thermostat that has auto and manual settings for temperature and humidity. They also auto open/close when turned on, so no cranking of the handle. Can also be manually opened and closed.

Dicor works well for the sealing area around anything that goes through the roof. They have two kinds, one flows better than the other, I forget the actual designation.

Thanks Keith. The one thing I see in all the install videos is that where the upper fan assembly is inserted into the flange, there's no seal at all and I'm betting it causes issues with water intrusion when installed without sealant. Ordering a cover <OR> adding some sealant in that area might be a good idea. My days of hunting from tree stands is over so the rooftop install will be fun I'm sure. Dicor self leveling lap sealant is recommended it seems. I'll have a look at the Fantastic Fans also.
