95 f350 cc 5sp 254000 miles,i need to replace my body mounts, probable all my bushing, what is the best kind to use and where is the best place to get them. Thanks Jim
i've found on body mounts that rubber will be softer and quieter than the poly
urethane style mounts but they do have a shorter lifespan than the poly ones,FWIW.
I believe i would like to have the rubber one also, these have lasted 16 years, that is probable longer then i will last anyway. Dont know what kind clay sells . Jim
I think clay sells the poly ones, but he could probably get you the rubber ones. You could try your local parts stores also to see if they have the rubber sets available,AZ,CARQUEST,NAPA,ADVANCE,ETC..
I was looking for replacement rubber bushings for just the front two body mounts for the core support and the cost of just the rubber parts through LMC cost more than a whole set of poly bushings.
