I got one of those crappy filters, never buying one again, but its been in there a while. its the one with the half inch socket hole on the top.
They just suck.
Anyways.
I didn't like the o-ring that came with it, so I swapped out my old one like a few other people on here have done.
Well, I had my fuel bowl out today, and put it all back in, started the truck.
Hmm weird, its running weird. look under the truck, fuel just pouring out. bout 4-5 dollars on the floor. great!
The o-ring gasket likes to swell, so it fell off in the bucket I had it sitting in.
So.
lesson of the day.
Don't forget your fuel filter seal! haha.
They just suck.

Yeah, after that I went to put the seal back on, I broke the center socket hole part. and 4 of the fins off trying to get the lid off.
I'm never buying one of these POS filters again.
I needed one and it was at a discount, the filter is good, but the rest is pure junk.
