They're AutoMeter gauges, Pro-comp series in white - can also get them with a black face

Auto Meter Pro Comp Ultra Lite's. This is only one of two set of gauges that has a gas gauge would work with my efi fuel pump without having to buy a different sending unit, etc., etc.

I stumbled across the clock and thought that was pretty cool, and I needed something for that section of the dash.

Time involved? About 6 ~ 7 hours making and welding the piece. Another 3 ~ 4 hours cutting holes and cleaning everything. Plus another couple of hours scratching my backside figuring out the layout before cutting

I finally have all of the lights figured out - I think you guys will like the turn indicators - and I can install this weekend.

Looks awesome and love the gauges. Same thing I have. I also love the clock Idea and didn't know autometer made one. I'd love to put one in mine, but not sure where to put it. I have A/C so the left side is out of the question. Too bad there isn't any pillar gauge pods for our trucks.

are you going to do the glove box in the same way?
Not right now. Just keeping the stock door for now

Aside from actul man hours, from start to finish about how long are you thinking a couple week (that is working with your schedule). would you be interested in production on a minor scale, what would you think resonable price?

Thanks

We were thinking a week to manufacture the blank insert. We have been batting around prices and we are thinking $50 - $60 for the blank insert, plus shipping.
It depends on the price of the steel and if you want brushed or polished.
You have to cut your own holes.
Double the price and add a couple of days if you want me to cut the holes.

Do you have any pictures of it sitting in the dash? Just curious on how it looks with the trim.

Will hopefully be done this weekend.

Brilliant work my man!

That looks fantastic!

I'm really wondering though, did you consider putting a tach in the dash as well?

I've actually seen a tach-speedo combo that would look awesome in that custom dash. No idea who it was by, but I was just wondering what you're doing with your tach.

Looks good, but I think I would've went with 2 5/16th smaller guages and a 5" speedo, or kept the 2 1/16th guages and fit a 3 3/4 speedo and a tach side by side to fill out the space better.

Great craftsmanship though!

I love the Ultralite's too! I put a crapload of them in my 66 Mustang awhile back!

I'm thinking that the bezel "trim" will not be going around it. I think it would be nice if the bezel was modified to fit over that insert to match the trim around the glovebox and to keep some of the original dash.

blackkawi400 - nice look in the 'Stang dash. The 5 inch speedo looked WAY TOO LARGE for my tastes.

I couldn't really find a need for a tach so I didn't worry about it.

Aaron-71 - I have seen the combo speedo/tach but they do not come in the style of gauge I am using.

There is also a 4-way combo - fuel, oil, water, volts this is cool but again, I don't believe it came in the style I am using.

I am trying to make it work. Not sure how it will turn out.

At that price I may be interested in one. It would save me some time, which is good because that is what I lack most at the moment.

You open to doing an aluminum one???

I'm also interested to see what you come up with for turn signal indicators...

As said, sold, especially if you can do one for this dash:
