IAC Valve location
hello,
I have a 2004 f150 5.4L new body style... I would love to clean the IAC to try and clear up a rough idle but cant seem to find it on the truck or find a picture of it in the fourms.
Thanks for any help!

Welcome to FTE.
You cannot find it on the truck, because it does not exist. There is not an IAC on the 5.4L 3v in the F150.
Your rough idle could be a number of things. Start with cleaning the MAF and throttle body. Then move on to bigger items if that doesn't help.

MAF= use CRC- MAF cleaner,, kinda pricy but works good,, just did mine and truck runs better..
Throttle body= use CRC throttle body cleaner,, not hard to remove just be careful removing electrical connections,, I broke the locking feature on the throttle position sensor.. Put on a new gasket when re-installing..
