Fuel pump brand ?

I want to buy a fuel pump My truck has 147,000 miles and keep it as a spare. What do you recommend Bosch airtek walbro or is there something else out there. I have done the hutch/harpoon and have an external baldwin filter. Thanks

You have mentioned some good ones there. Now do some looking and check prices.I found a OEM Motorcraft(new) on Ebay a year ago for a good price and bought it.I keep it behind the seat JIC.

I use Airtek E2236. Check on-line offers. I bought my spare through AA on-line for about $120.

Clay has the oem pump: Riffraff Diesel: Bosch Electric Fuel Pump

When I got a new one I just went ahead and changed it and kept the old one as a spare. Much easier to do at home vs. on the road and who knows what the weather could be.

Be careful ordering from E-Bay unless you contact the seller and tell then exactly what you got and will that pump fit. I had to send a pump back to a seller on E-BAY because he misrepresented the product on his site, said it was a Walbro when in fact it was a China knockoff.. He made good on it but it cost me the agravation. Guys here will steer you right.
