Can outside door mirrors fit , from an 03' Excursion/Super Duty onto same year F150?? power mirrors,heated with signal

 

They will with some modification, they are NOT just plug and play.

how much needs to be done? what is all involved?

 

I cant seem to find the write up now, but I know it involved switching wires, cutting off tabs, and using something ( they used liquid steel) to shape the base. I have seen some P&P tow mirrors on Ebay, that look a lot like factory SD/EX mirrors.
