Ok another annoyance I just noticed, I searched and searched for a good answer but every thing i find im afraid to try because I do not want to damage my truck, but the two screws in the cargo/third break light I remove but the cover refuses to pop out, am I doing something wrong?? one of the bulbs is causeing me an issue and I want them to be replaced or swapped with red (or amber) bulbs as I some times have to drive with my cab light on (don't ask why I just do) so I would rather they be amber and/or red so they are more like driving lights for the truck (no I don't use the cargo light as intended because I keep a few low profile LED lights with me in my box that work better and the box blocks them partly anyways...)
so any help again would be greatful for as these things are driving me insaine...
Once the two screws are removed, you pull the whole light assembly
from the cab. The bulbs are held in by twist type bulb socket holders
in the backside of the light assembly. Sometimes the bulb sockets
melt so they can be hard to twist off.
