I have a 98 ranger and the guy i bought it from ripped off the front plastic part. looks like crap!! the truck also has a 3" body lift and really would look much better if there was a big bumper with a bar on it. would an f150 warn bumper fit? or am i going to have to weld something up??
that series of ranger truck is starting to show up in junkyards, might just see about getting a used bumper and then getting a grill guard/push bar for it.
Im not to big fan of stock.... Id rather weld something up then go to the junk yard custom is my thing, like most people on here. I'm usually over in the Bronco forum but just picked up this ranger cheep figured i should start educating myself.
Weld it up! Thats what I like to hear. Just remember the 2 front bumper mounts are part of the frame and you should be rightous.Get some pics of before and after and post them. You could use a front bumper off a 96 F-150 and cut the center out to shorten the lenth. It would be a taller bumper and give you plenty of stock to run a bead on if you make your own brushguard.Post some pics. Have a good one.
