High EOT or bad EOT sensor

I am supposed to take my truck to a shop next week and have the computer reprogramed to turn off the light for the egr as I installed a blocked off egr cooler. They are also going to check the ect and the eot. I dont know what kind of scanner they have but Maybe this will shed some light on the situation. Truck is still running great except for a small oil leak at the front top of the engine. Fan blows oil underneath on the hood and there is a little oil on the intake at the egr valve. Its not leaking bad enough to drip under the truck. I think its coming from the charge air cooler hose that connects to the intake. I am going to take it off tonight to clean and retighten it.
