HELP!!!!!!!!!!! a40d trans
okie here is the deal . I got my check engine light come on 2 days ago so i did what the normal person would do checked it out.
got the following codes 332 334 122 998 the 998 is failure which I understand. it turns out I replaced all sensors that where bad I even bought a new vss. which here is the problem i looked at all threads and got some ideas of where to look for this darn sensor.
There is no sensor on my truck that looks like this sensor did i get the wrong one?? and can I kill the rep that sold it to me???
my truck is a 93 f150 4x4

If it's a little black thing that spins inside with a connector along one side, kill the parts salesman. 
What your truck uses is the "ABS" sensor in the rear axle.
"A4OD" isn't the name of a Ford transmission - they make an "AOD" & an "E4OD" for fullsize trucks and an "A4LD" for some other applications. Yours is probably the E4OD - check the TRANS code on the door sticker.

your right it is an e4od... My bad and yes my truck has abs in fact its in mint condition. I got it from my dad when he bought his new 2003 f350.. but unless i get this fix i am not driving it.
I called the rep and he say this is what it calls for but I have an electric speedometer and he calls me a liar

What exactly does this "rep" represent? The moron parts salesmen of America? '92 used the PSOM (electronic speedo) but also used that VSS. '93-96 used ONLY the ABS sensor for the PSOM, the cruise, & the electronic automatic transmissions.
