Hey guys, Just got my Rancho quicklift loaded quickstrut installed today(the part number is 999910). I had the struts put on by my local shop and then had them go ahead and do the alignment. I am happy with them so far. I LOVE the stance of the truck. It is setting very nice now. Maybe just a touch nose down still, but very close to level. I did measurements with the truck setting in my garage, so it was in the same position both times. I measured from the bottom of the rim through the center of the wheel up to the bottom of the fender-well. Before the distance was 31 and 7/8". After the distance is 33 and 3/4" so right at 2" of lift. Here are some pics. Sorry about the sun glare, you cant tell much else about my truck, but you can get the idea of the stance.

I do need to take the truck back to the shop. I gotta C/V boot leaking on my passenger side. The drivers side was changed about a year and a half ago. I think it was torn before, but the change in angle really stretched the boot and opened the hole up. So I am taking it back monday to get that boot replaced.
also, these are the adjustable damper shocks. I had them set on 5 on the install, I have turned them down to 4 already, they were pretty stiff. Like I said, I love the stance. I am gonna get new rubber next year. I am staying with my stock 18's but will probably go up one tire size to 285/65/18's. One last thing. I know lots of guys have level kits, or billy 5100's, etc. I am worried about how the upper Balljoints are gonna hold up. Can someone reassure me that they will be ok? thanks guys!
edit: forgot to add, I just ordered a shorty 14" antenna, because mine used to hit going in the garage a little, now it jams in the door bad.
Wow, nice! I agree it's perfect, slightly nose down. Tad under 2" higher on front. Congrats. I want to get it for myself soon, but gotta get new tires first. Just got first snow up in the mountains in my area yesterday and today.

Thanks! That last after pic makes it appear to have more rake than it does now. I think the camera was crooked! It is just right for me, I am very happy with the stance, like I said just apprehensive about the possible effect on the longevity of the other suspension components. Wow, that sucks about the snow. We had 85 here in IL today, too hot actually, but nice. I am gonna run these tires through the winter and probably till next fall, then I will put on 285/65/18's. That's the plan now at least. Plan's do change though! I haven't driven much, probably won't too much this weekend with that boot leaking, but my initial impression of the rancho shocks was very favorable. They felt 100 times better than the originals. No nose dive on braking, felt firm, yet good ride too!
I ended up buying them from autoshepherd.com. they had the best price and free shipping. Everything was great with the purchase and the shipping was fast. I did not do shocks on the rear yet, I hope to next year. When I do I will go with the rancho 9000 series to keep it consistent. I like these a lot so far. I got my C/V boot fixed today, so I feel like I can drive it more now. The part number for the 2wd quick lift quickstrut is rs999909. If you buy the 999910 you might end up being nose up. You can call the rancho people to verify, they were very helpful to me. here's their website. Rancho Suspension: Off Road Shock Absorbers & Off Road Suspension Systems
Thanks for the info. I have a set of HBS spacers I got for cheap and was planning on doing that. But many say that after so many miles the shocks are shot (I have 63,000) The price diff between the Monroe loaded struts and the Ranchos is only $10. Monroe/Rancho also has a rebate going. $50 in your case.

Hey thanks man. I actually knew about that rebate, I saw it on rock auto when I was shopping around. But....I had totally forgotten about it. Thanks for reminding me.
