fan really loud

Question fan really loud

okay my fan began to be really loud in the last two months on my 03 f150 supercrew 4x4 so today i replaced the altenator,and fan clutch and it still sounds like a jet engine when it turns on and start to accerate but then will go away its louder than my exuast i have and now i am stumped and puzzled on what else it could be. any suggestions would really be appreciated thanks

take off the belt and turn each pulley seperate. I would vote for the idler pulley bearing since you haave already changed the alternator. Try turing on the Air Cond and let the clutch lockup.. does the noise go away ? There is a comp0rssor pulley bearing as part of that clutch.
