83 won't idle
I have an 83 F150 5.8l that won't idle.It has been getting gradually worse so now I have to keep one foot on the accelerator to keep it from stalling.I tried to set the idle up but it doesn't work .Could this be a gas problem,like filter or dirty carb.?Or could it be ignition?when I step on it it seems to be getting gas but seems to be missing.Any ideas?

I would do a tune-up. New plugs, new dist cap and rotor, and while you are around under there, check all your rubber vacuum lines. While you are messing around under the hood doing a little maintenance, you might stumble onto the problem.
