Hey guys, I'm new here and this is my first post. I sold my 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon on Wednesday and bought a 2008 F150 XLT 4x4. Well I've never cared for any stock radio in any of the cars I've owned and that is always the first mod. I like the Synch system of the new trucks but I'm not spending that kind of cash.
So I bought a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT last night for $350, it's last years model but who cares I saved $100 and it does what I want which is handsfree calling.
My question is the antenna adapter I got doesn't fit, the truck antenna looks like my Jeeps antenna wire so do I need a Chrysler?
Next, have any of you guys run a Blue Tooth head unit? and if so how did you run the mic? I figure I can snake the wire under the dash and up the pillar, across to the visor but it'll be an exploratory process as the dash is way more complicated than my Jeeps.
Lastly, is it possible to use the stock ford Satellite radio antenna? I assume I have to buy the Pioneer adapter, which I'm not very impressed with satellite in the 2 days I've used it so I may not.

Yes, look for one on ebay, about $5 shipped.

I haven't finished mine yet, but that is the route I'm going. It's not bad at all going that way.
