Does anyone know how to turn off the reverse aid sensor on a 2010 F250? I have a client that just bought one, but theirs doesn't have the button on the dash to disable it like my '08 does.
really ? that seems odd... i dont have a 2010 dash picture so i cant visualize where it would be atm...
i cant imagine not having a manual bypass button at hand...otherwise everytime u have a trailer hooked up the thing will go balistic when u go into reverse...
As far as the TPMS, When I first testdrove my 2010 F350, The tpms light was on. I pointed it out to the dealership, they said they will check the tires and system. When I went to pick it up, the light was not on and has not been on to this date. Check the air in the tire including the spare, that should take care of it.
If not , inside your dash glove box , you will find a tpms tool "Small beige remote with a green button". Read the manual on how to use the tool. The system might need to go through the re-cal setup.
I do agree. All these sensors are just waiting to break and cause havic. I wish Auto Industry would concentrate on building cars and trucks to last longer, not more stupid sensors.
