I'm modifying my doors to take the solid one piece window. When I took the hinges off. I didn't mark where they went. So what I'm asking is. Is there a way to tell what hinge went where? Are there any tricks to adjusting the door when hanging it back on? My truck is a 53 F-100. Thanks in advance Jackus
all the hinges are the same.. I elongated the holes on the door side of the hinge to allow me to adjust back/forth a little.
I tried to use one of those door dollies, but the running board brackets got in the way on my lowered truck. after paint I had a helper while I guided the door on the hinges.. before paint I did it by myself..
Thanks Sam. I'll try the elogated thing too. I thought they all looked the same, but when I Looked at hinges in a catalog they always said left top or left bottom. So I figured I'd better ask. I don't have an alblum here yet. Is it OK to put a link to another site where I do?

Easier than bending the door, and allows for smaller adjustments
Adjusting the doors for fit and gap is a real pain. I got tired of reinventing the wheel, so once I had them where I wanted, I figured out how to pin them so they repeat exactly in the same place every time they come on/off. The system works great.
You should still have a helper to hang them when you're in final paint. You can do it alone if in primer. I used clecos to position the hinges on the jamb side, and 1/4" pins to hang the door on the hinges.
