PerTronix Ignition Module
Engine - 1977 400 6.6L
My question is about PerTronix's D500700 Ignition module. It can be found at Summit.

Does this replace the OEM Ignition Control Module? If it does, is it worth the investment to swap out the Motorcraft box thats attached to the inner fender?
