Wiper linkage replace how do i remove wiper arm
Trying to replace or repair the wiper linkage on my 00 expi. got all the screws and clips out of the wayto remove the cowl but I cant get the wipers out of the way. I tried to get the arms off I removed the end caps and the bolt and washer on each i expected them to slide off the assembly am I missing something or do i just need a big hammer?

HAMMER TIME!!!
I took a rubber mallet and apparently it was just frozen as per an f150 forum. Anyway got the cowl off I have a new linkage ready to go bu i want to make sure i cant save te old. the balljoint on the passnger side comes free of the ring which conects to the wiper motor. what should this look like how does it attach.
