I have done a little research (not much) on these and this looks like the ideal setup for my truck. I need to keep the box covered as I have plans, files and tools in the box for work. However, I also use my truck hauling stuff on a regular basis.
I was thinking of a topper, but I figure that is to much hassle to take on and off every time I need to haul something.
I currently have a soft leather tonneau cover, but that is a bugger in the winter time to put the snaps back on.
My dog goes with me on a regular basis in the back of the truck when I am going around town.
Does anybody have more info and pricing information on the Rollout tonneau covers? Does anyone have a better suggestion or option.
I just ordered a Lebra Top Mount for my 2002 250 SD last night. It was $199.95 no shipping. Pep boys have the same cover same price but they didn't have any for my truck. Auto zone also carries them for 189.99 but they didn't have it in stock. Should take about a week to get, I needed yesterday but oh well. I didn't think it would be that hard to find one. Boy was I wrong.
I really liked the idea of the hard covers that roll up but I couldn't afford it . About $800.00??
Lebra makes this pretty reasonable and so does CoverCraft.
