So the diamond tuck is a little dated...big deal. Some of us would call that a "classic" interior. It's a work in progress...

Hey Jim, don't even give that guy a second thought, We all really appreciate what you are doing with your truck so don't let joe blow ruin it for you. When I saw that post first I was 'gonna give'em a real good ripping'. If that is his opinion, so be it, but, I guarantee he won't get any cooperation from any of us, ever, especially me. So...don't worry about that. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your truck.

Well Joe....do you see what you've done now??? You might've tried saying something like "diamond tuck isn't my favorite, but your truck looks pretty nice....", but nooo.....you had to blurt exactly what was on your mind. When you were a kid did your parents frequently say "don't make me reach back there" ????

Jim....I'm hoping that you keep the pics posted & post your progress as well.

Dan

Well....I just logged on today and I tried to see your album. You must have already removed it. That's a shame, and I encourage you to re-post the pics, if you have already taken them down, and stick around with us. But I can say this--that guy is out of line. Don't let somebody like that ruin what is a good forum for us all to learn and have a good time. He's probably out wiping armor all on his new truck. It was very rude. And I second everybody else, hey Joe, let's see your truck!

Don't let anyone push you out, Jim. Most of us appreciate the pictures. Hang in there.

Wish you'd reconsider taking down your pics. There are a lot of folks here at FTE, myself included, that really enjoy seeing this old iron on the road again. It's really cool to see the unique individuality that goes in to other rides. Whether it's a daily driver, trailer queen, owner built or professionally built, the reason you have it is the same as the rest of us...we love 'em. Put your pictures back up so the rest of us can enjoy them. And keep posting pics as you make progress or changes! One more thing, like my momma use to say, if you can't say something nice...

Jim,
I think your truck looks great. The key is that YOU are enjoying it and having FUN!!!! I love old trucks whether their all stock or highly "darksided." People flip me some grief because I'm running a non-Ford engine and I have gone to the darkside, but when the average Joe and Jane are looking at my truck, they appreciate it and know that it's old and it's pretty cool.....just like yours. When it's cruising down the road and you are as happy as can be, everyone else will be smiling back at'cha. Enjoy and keep up the great work!!!!!

Hey Jimmy, I liked you truck, I remember when everyone wanted the diamond tuck... Hey I hear it all the time that people don't like my truck, It's powered by the darkside... And I just say that I like it and it's mine so if you don't like it, "go play with yours!" had to clean it up my language for the web... We are each building what we like and I have repect for each persons build... Keep building and post pics... we love our F1's and I like to seeing, get ideas from each other and sharing what we have done... Like many other I plead with you to please put you pics back up and sharing you progress... Some of us respect what you are doing!

My vote is to put the pics of your truck back up. You know what counts for you and makes you happy dont worry about what others think. I care bout what others think but you know what as long as Im happy and pleasing me then what they think doesnt matter that much. Exceptions are cops and state patrolmen if stopped by them I smile and agree with everything they are saying.

This is a small town, the looked the other way. ANYWAY thanks again for the comarodery. (JIMMY)

Thanks for putting your pictures back up. You even added a few more before I could ask, keep them coming. Negative comments are almost unheard of on this forum.

Now if you ask the group how they think you should proceed with a portion of your project, you are bound to get every conceivable option. But, with those discussions almost to a man, they say; "here is what I would do, but it's your truck do what makes you happy"

That your truck is a daily driver makes you way cool in my book.

Pay no attention to that knucklehead,he's likely a snot nosed kid that been handed everything he has and wouldn't know how to do anything for himself. Glad you didn't pull your pictures. You have a great looking truck and can do the changes as you see fit in your own sweet time. If all he's driving is a 2006 (dime a dozen) it will take years before he'll ever gets a 2 thumbs up. So stick around, your one of us, he's not.
