Steering issues
This may seem like I am beating a dead horse since there were some posts on this before.....but here I go anyway....
I have a 1990 F-250 4x4 and I have a hard time making right turns. REAL hard time. Left turns don't seem to be a problem, and the power steering pump only whines when I fight with this truck to turn right. The posts I looked at were a few years old there was no mention of any of the repairs the gentleman made fixing the problem. HELP!!! Any advice or assistance will be appreciated.

Try lifting the front wheels off the ground (at the same time), and steer the wheels side to side....Possibly has air in the lines.....Just a thought...

Just a thought....If it has air in the system, that will take the pressure of the lines/pump, and allow the air to bubble out....

Is it a 4x4? If so, may be something in that....

I am going through her with a fine tooth comb this weekend.....i will check that too...and like i said...and advice is appreciated

When power steering works in one direction only, 99.99% of the time it is a defective steering gear..

A weak pump, or air in the system will affect both directions.... Think about it.....

You shouldn't. That is the only way to learn things is to ask, and quite often even the best of the best overlook what seems obvious after it's mentioned.

Thanks Kevin I will be on here quite often.....I have quite a long list of things I want to do to this truck and I will need all the help I can get

Spray the front axle u joints with pb blaster and see if it gets better. Does it feel like the steering is sticking?
