hey guys, my name is mike and i just joined today. i tried to do a search, but turned up nothing. i have a 2000 F250 stock with 150k on the clock. I've had the truck for 5 years now and it's been a great truck, but i have been having some problems with it running real bad and even dieing when the fuel gauge dips below a 1/4 tank. it runs great above that. i have changed the fuel filter many times and dump the water trap all the time. can y'all help me out? thanks.
Sounds like your fuel pickup assembly in the tank is clogged, cracked or both. Might be a good time to check it out. The 1/4 tank or less symptoms point directly to a fuel pickup issue.
