I always put my truck up for the winter. Last weekend I pulled it out and gave it a good run. When I went to turn on the radio I got nothing. I pulled fuse 7 and 22 and reseated them and still nothing. I had the same problem last year and the reseat worked for me. So I pulled both again and cleaned the tabs and reseated them again. Again nothing. I pulled no. 7 and put a test light to the socket and found that there is no power at that socket. WTF! I thought maybe a mouse chewed the wire but since everything else works, I doubt that a mouse would just chew one wire. Anybody have any ideas on what it could be?
I bought an aftermarket unit(see link) and it didn't work either so I found another fuse that was keyed power and tapped into that. You could try doing that and see if your radio powers up.
