well unless someone else put the C4 in there that truck should have a C6.

you want a flexplate from a late 80's crownvictoria running the 5.8/aod combo and 164 tooth.

a new flexplate shouldnt be more then $60-70 at most.

The correct flexplate is 28oz, 164 tooth, and will be stamped AOD specific. The difference between it and the other varieties is with the front to back offset when mounted on the crank, the C6/E4OD flexplates have too much offset which pushes the TC back too far and that will result in immediate death of the transmion due to metal on metal contact inside the oil pump.

does your auto tranny have a removable bellhousing?

302 uses a 50oz imbalance
351w uses 28oz imbalance

C4 has removable bell. AOD is integral.

As for cross member etc, see the tech info here. They also have mounts for the cross member.

TCI - Ford AOD, AODE and 4R70W

Critical dimensions, including bell to mount:

i would get the crossmember from an 85-86 bronco with a 5.0/AOD combo.

like 85 mentioned if the tranny you have is infact a C4 the bellhousing is removable just like the older Manual trannies. if its not then you have a C6
