Yes i was stoped by the law today. He said he just wanted to look at my truck. Then i got out to open the hood for him and then i had to tell him the story about how i lost my leg. I don't mined talking trucks but its getting old telling folks about losing my leg. LOL
OK GUYS I was working as a welder at a chemical plant and we were useing a frontend loader with a big beam on the front of it . It was a attachment they used to push railroad car around the mill. A mill guy came and got it when we were at lunch and put the bucket on it to load a truck then he put the beam attachment back on and put it back were it was. We had no idea he had done this. I was welding on some handrails on a walkway we were building and when my guy drove it up to me with a 40' handrail hanging from that beam he rolled it down like you would a bucket to sit it down the 1000 lb beam came off crushing my left leg. The mill guy didn't put the two pins back in when he put it back on.So all that was holding it was two hooks on the top and when it was rolled downward they came off . It was about 8 ' feet above me so you do the math. 5 surgerys and 32 days later i got a blood clot and they had to take it or i would die. I HAVE BEEN THERE AND BACK AND I;M STILL HERE. They payed me alot of money for that leg BUT i would give it all back for that leg. IF I COULD KEEP THE TRUCK . lol

I WAS MAD FOR ALONG TIME BUT I NEEDED TO FORGIVE TO BE ABLE TO MOVE ON. My ex wife sure give him hell. GOD BLESS HER !!!!
a guy at work is missing a couple fingers from an accident and when out of town venders and engineers and contractors come to the plant it is always the same questions. he makes up bogus rediculous stories to keep it intersting. about 3/4 of the way through one of his war stories it dawns on people that it is bull. and by then they start to realize it is non of their business and usually walk away. you got to play nice with the law though.
