I remember the first time I took mine around the block. I couldn't wipe the silly grin from my face for hours, made my cheeks hurt.

I've never driven mine either. 1 September is the target date. that's when the Focus' registration is due again. Not happening.

First drive rocks. When it goes well the little grin is a lot like the one you get after a good first date and I mean nothing dirty by that. Can't wait to be there with my 66.
Did the truck sit on the tires for a long tome? Tires are often guilty of vibrations especially after sitting. Could also be u joints.

I think we should put into our by-laws a rule that first drives should be video taped.

My truck hasn't been driven since around 1972 and at my current rate of progress (and budget), i'm looking at 3-4 more years. I will sure video that drive, shoot I expect to have a truck with no body that I will have driving before I begin putting the body back on...that should be a fun video...

We have by-laws now? When did this happen?

Yeah, I will try to video the second drive....or at least take some pics.

I think I found the vibration....the pinion angle changed after I lowered the rear. I ordered some angle shims, might get em by the weekend....
