So last night me and a few buddies got the great idea to put my Transgo Tugger kit in at about 10pm, anyhow and about 2am I was filling fluid. The tranny now only has 2nd and 3rd and rev. No 1st, 4th, or TC lockup. If I put it in D it stays in 3rd no matter what, if I move to second it stays in 2nd like it should but if i go to 1st it stays in 2nd no matter what. I have a snap-on red brick but its on its last leg and only works when it sees fit. Last night I was not able to tell much becuase it didnt feel like working for more than 45 seconds at a time. Any Ideas on what I could have messed up, I only removed the accumulator VB and solenoide pack, Im pretty sure the pack is pluged in all the way though its hard to really tell, Im goin to make sure when we get caught up here at work and I can get it in on a lift.
So you only removed the accumulator valve body, not the others, right? So no chance the big separator plate slipped down and the check ***** above it fell out or got moved around?
Did you clean out the vb before you stuck the new springs in? Drill the holes in the vb? Drill the holes in the new plate that goes above the vb? Stick the little filter cup back in place? Tug on the soleniod pack connector to see if you can unplug it without pushing on the catch. If it's snapped into place it won't come loose.
I've only read about problems with this install one other time and he ended up taking the valve body back out and found out he installed something wrong. I don't remember what it was, but once he figured it out, all was well.
Did you have to do any mods to the solenoid pack? No.

Cleaned VB, lubed with ATF, drilled where needed, installed filter, clip is broke so pulling on the plug wont help.

From what I can feel the plug is down all the way. Pistons all moved fine when installed. I am probably going to pull it apart again tonight. Is there a test I can do to the solenoid pack? the only thing i thing I could have messed up in the VB are the clips that hold the valve and springs in like in this photo:
The clip is shown at step 3, there is the steal valve you use from the kit then a spring you reuse and a clip you reuse.
I took those out of all the gears to clean. I installed them in this order valve-spring-clip. I compressed the spring, installed the clip so that the spring was on th same side of the clip as the valve. then the other valve with the springs that you are supposed to use from the kit and so on. did i put those first 3 in the right order? that was the only part i was confused on.
I got it figured out. I unplugged the connector and tried it like that and it did the same thing and I the OD off light didn't come on or flash. So I plugged it back in and cleared the codes. it said I had codes in it but I couldn't see what ones they were but I plugged the connector back in and now it shifts great. With some fine tuning in my tunes I will have it shifting even better soon. Thanks for the help guys.
