We've got about 2' of snow here, so I was moving the Bronco and I put it in 4-low to get it over the snow but now it seems like it wont come out. I force and force the lever up into N/4-Hi/2-Hi, but it refuses to move. It seems to be stuck in 4-low. It does this to me from time to time. It'll go into 4-hi, but often I have to force it down and sometimes I can't get it back up, but this time it looks like it might not come up. I'm going to try again tomorrow, but I hope it's not stuck in 4-low

 

I would make sure you put your tranny in neutral.... also try backing up a few feet, might just be binding up

 

I got it. Let it sit for a little, but it was bugging me. So I went out and it went back to normal.

 

what I do sometimes is give it some quick short throttle, and then drop it into neutral and it will allow the transcase to lossen up and move back out of 4low.
