Failed EGR valve?
I was trying to figure out my smoke problem...
Well I unplug the EGR valve and all of it goes away.
Plugged in and it all comes back?
I cleaned it thoroughly and didnt change...?
Did it fail electronically?

Bulletproof...
Would that smoke mean something if the egr is plugged in or unplugged?
And I am not sure if the welds failed or what, but when I replaced it my problems went away.

just get you a new tuner or use the old one and leave the truck stock and turn off the egr valve. or if you get a new tuner since the other one is "bad" try it to make sure it was the other tuner that was causing your problems

your fan might not work properly. like i said plug it back in and use the sct to turn it off and you dont have to worry about it. its the same thing as unplugged but your fan will work properly

have you driven it hard since you changed the cooler?.when mine went out it took some hard driving to get it to clear out.took a month to burn the oil out of my exhaust when my turbo cut loose.btw,what color is the smoke?.
